AKO pinch valves manufacturer!
Pinch valves are actuated under force from an actuator, the actuation medium is supplied to, and mechanism which directly impacts the elastic sleeve.
Pinch valve characteristics:
Pinch valves are characterized by a free flow of product, guaranteed because of the nominal passage of practically all diameters. Thus, punch valves ensure minimum frictional resistance and guarantees absolute absence of failures cause by plugging or clogging. Further advantages of pinch valves may be found in their lightweight and compact construction, meaning that they are easy to install and ensure appropriate maintenance.
The particularly robust, elastic fabric-reinforced pinch valve sleeves allow using AKO pinch valves even under extreme conditions. The AKO air operated pinch valves and sleeves prove their worth, particularly because of their long service life and wear resistance, for instance, if very abrasive media is being conveyed with a very high switching cycle frequency. A selection of nine different kinds of elastic sleeves and different body/flange materials ensures that AKO pinch valves may be used practically without restriction in almost all industrial sectors. Due to their simple structure, AKO’s air operated pinch valves represent a particularly low cost/economic shut-off valve solution, because a separate drive is not required for actuating them. In fact, only a 3/2-way solenoid valve or pilot valve is needed to control air operated pinch valves.
The highly-elastic, air operated pinch valve sleeve shuts off the product flow with a 2-3 bar differential pressure supply (depending on elastomer quality) and then moves back to the open position without being driven because of its great rebound resilience, once the pinch valve body has been bleed.
Due to its very simple structure they are extremely easy to repair and service. They can be repaired or serviced by the staff of the operating organization directly at the site of the valves installation.
